Hello Owls,

What a great week we had in the Owl room. My sweet owls are growing and learning so much. I was really listening and watching my Owls this week and thinking back to August. We have come a long way. I am so proud of them. In the owl room we painted with snowmen and snowflake stamps. We played with the ducks in the ice. We also colored with markers and scooped the snow. In chapel we helped to take some sick people to see Jesus. We had to climb over a bridge, crawl under a wall, go through a door and ride a horse through wild animal pit. Yeah!!

Remember next week we will not have school. Our conferences will be on Wednesday. I look forward to talking with you all. Have a great weekend.

With love,
Ms. Tracee

Hello Sweet Owls,

Despite the unseasonable warm weather it snowed at ELP this week. We had so much fun going down the snow slide. Some of my friends dug in the snow and a few had a snowball fight. It is such a good experience for us Texas dwellers. In our classroom we talked about cold and snow. We colored with chalk and had snowflake stickers. We even tried to get the treasures out of the ice block while talking about melting, wet, cold, sparkling, This is great vocabulary building. WE painted with ice pops. We also enjoyed eating them. This is a great way to get some water in them also.

I look forward to next week we will be exploring love and everything valentines.
We will do a small valentines exchange so if you are out and about you can pick up some valentines. Each class will only need 4.

WIth Love,
Ms. Tracee

Hello sweet Owls

We had a great time playing and experiencing "snow" in the owl room last week. In the sensory center we had snow and snowmen we could count and play with. We had our flubber. We all loved this. We also painted with a hose filled with rice. It looks like snowballs. We also glittered them. FUN FUN!! We played with Ms. Betty and in chapel we talked about obeying God. We oh course sang and got a stamp.

This week it will really snow at ELP. Please remember to bring a change of clothes. If they fall on the snow it is very wet. As always you are welcome to come.

With Love,
Ms. Tracee
