Happy Halloween my Sweet owls.

We had a spooky good time last week in the owl room. We sang "spider on my head" and laughed and laughed. They are really getting into this. We take turns wearing the spider and singing. SO FUN. We also scooped the black beans, and bounced the pumpkin ping pong balls. We played with Ms. Betty. We had fun kicking the balls, playing in the leaves and exploring the parachute. In chapel we read a book about letting our light shine (written by our own Ms. Rita). We also danced in the dark to Little Light of Mine with Glow sticks. This was a fun and new experience for some. We then got to go to the Fall festival where we picked apples, rode in a wagon, racked the leaves, worked on a tee pee, and played with the corn and watched in go through shoots. We also stacked the Hay. We had a great time. As always we played outside with Ms. Pat. She always has fun things for us to paint.

I look forward to this week, we will be talking about Fall, pumpkins, and turkeys. (Gobble, Gobble)

Good Morning Owls,

Hope you all had a great a weekend. We had another awesome week in the Owl room. It was great getting to see all the families at family night. Thank you so much for the donated books. I love them. We had so much fun last week painting with cookie cutters, writing with chalk, scooping the black beans and pumpkins. We also bounced the orange ping pong balls and used our motor skills to place them in the pumpkins. We read Five little pumpkins and counted the pumpkins, rolled the pumpkins talked about the faces on the pumpkins. Outside we painted on a haystack and painted on the wall. We played in the bubbles and watched them float up in the sky. We went to Chapel and helped pick hay and share it with our friends. We had so much fun!!

The Fall Festival is this week. Parents are welcome but it might be hard for some of them to separate again.

I look forward to this week we will be exploring Halloween and pumpkins.

With Love,
Ms. Tracee

Hope you are enjoying a little Owl like weather. WE HAD AN AWESOME WEEK in the OWL ROOM. YEAH!! All of my friends had a great day. We are really getting into the groove of ELP. We had so much fun touching the flubber and scooping the oatmeal that the spiders live in. We all painted with a bath sponge to make spiders. We sang Itsy Bitsy Spider and put the spider on our head, hand, knee, foot. Oh My!! We saw the animals and wore our funny shoes. We should have animals every week, all my friends loved them. We went to chapel and feed the Lions. We also went to motor movement and played with Ms. Betty.

I am so proud of my sweet babies. They are all adjusting well and doing it without Mom and that is a big accomplishment for little guys. Thank you for trusting me enough to let me spend time with your kids. Have a great weekend.

I look forward to next week- we will be exploring pumpkins and Halloween.

With love,
Ms. Tracee

Happy Friday my sweet Owls,

I had very few sad friends this week and my sad friends all had fun at some point. Everyone of my Owls is settling in and enjoying school. This is my main goal this time of the school year. I want each child to want to come to school or at least tolerate the idea. I promise each of you that once they settle in and start to explore all my sweet owls have fun and there is always loving arms to hold someone. We had some much fun playing with the pumpkins and feeling the different textures and talking about the sizes. We rolled the pumpkins down the slide. Some of my friends painted a pumpkin orange. (rest assure if your little one is not into the art in class they will get it, I don't want to force the issue) We read Brown Bear and played in the oatmeal. We played our instruments and sang songs.
Outside we played in the water and painted and of course we watched for the big trucks. SO FUN!!
Yeah everyone went to Chapel this week where we threw bean bags at and idol and talked about how we only love our one true God.

Next week is the petting zoo.
Parents are always welcome to attend the special events. Just remember that sometimes coming can upset your little one. It forces them to have to separate twice. I will take pictures, and you can enjoy your three hours.

Have a wonderful weekend~ We will be exploring farm animals next week.

With Love
Ms. Tracee
