Good Morning Owls,

We are starting to settle in to the Owl class. All of my friends had fun at school. I still had some sad friends at drop off but everyone settled in and began to explore all the fun. Outside it was sensory days. Ms. Pat's playground was full of fun stuff. We had shaving cream, water, bubbles, and paint. We had so much to do. We played with the boats and in the sand.
Inside we read Brown Bear Brown Bear and some of my friends painted a bear. We scooped in the oatmeal and found the bears hiding in it. We sorted the bears and talked about the colors of the bears. We sang Teddy Bear Teddy Bear and danced as always. In chapel we put God's animals in the garden of Eden. We also got a stamp. We went to motor movement and played with Ms. Betty. We played with the bean bags and rolled the balls. So Fun!!

In typical Ms. Tracee fashion, I sat on my camera and broke it on Tuesday. I did use my phone to take some photos. The pictures are a little blurry. Heading to Walmart to get a new one.

I look forward to next week we will be exploring BEARS again.

With Love,
Ms Tracee

Hoot Hoot Sweet Owls,

We had another awesome week in the owl room. We washed the babies, finger painted a paper mirror, played musical instruments and danced with streamers. My Tuesday owls got to take a ride in the big stroller and look at the fish. We colored with markers and started to explore with stickers. (great for fine motor) We enjoyed signing and dancing.
In chapel we learned how to talk to God and sang a new song and the best part of chapel we got a stamp. I think it was the first for some, their expressions are priceless as they try to figure out what it is.
Outside we blew bubbles, danced in the bubbles and tried to pop them. We played with play dough and explored the purple sand with gems in it. What a busy day we had at ELP.

I look forward to next week we will be exploring BEARS!!!

With Love,
Ms. Tracee

Hello Sweet Owls,

We had an awesome week in the owl class getting to know each other. We played outside and explored Ms. Pat's playground. We pushed the lawn mowers and played in the sand. We enjoyed the cooler mornings. In our classroom we washed the babies and talked about body parts. My owls are so smart. We played with the balls and sorted them in cupcake pans. Oh course we JUMPED into the balls in our ball pit. This is a class favorite. We had very few tears and all my friends did great. I can't wait for the new year.

Thank you for the cute little file folder books. These are a great addition for our library.

Next week we will be exploring -Me and my family

Have a great weekend,
With Love,
Ms. Tracee

ELP Toddler Owls

Hello My Sweet Owls,

I loved, loved, loved getting to know you all this week. Most of my new friends came in and enjoyed the classroom. I am so excited to explore our room and even the outdoors next week. Remember we only get to play for a little while next week, but we will be ready for a full day the following week. Please wear your play clothes, I know we will get wet and messy. Remember a change of clothes so I can clean your little one up at the end of the day.
Remember less is more when dropping off. Calming words and excitement for a great day. My goal is to make everyone happy and then we can play and learn at school.
I have a few pictures from this week. Please check them out. I will send new pictures weekly in order for you to see what happens at school.

Looking forward to next week. We will be talking about ME AND FAMILY.

Have a wonderful weekend!!

With Love,
Ms. Tracee
